Programa de Orientación Profesional (POP)

Career-related Programme (CP)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) is one of two pathways that students at our school can choose to complete their high school education. It combines the academic rigour of the Diploma Programme (DP) with internationally recognised vocational studies. At The English School, the CP is a high-quality educational programme that integrates academic subjects with core components designed to develop practical skills, critical thinking, professional ethics and social engagement, with a multicultural and pre-university focus.

At The English School, we have developed our own version of the CP to meet the specific needs of students from diverse backgrounds, with varied interests and circumstances, thereby offering an unconventional and highly relevant education.

What Makes the Career-related Programme (CP) at The English School Different?

The English School stands out for offering Vocational Training Courses accredited by the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla, Mexico; a university recognised by the IB. Our innovative vocational training curriculum is characterised by its breadth and variety, enabling students to explore fields that are in high demand and of great interest:

Prototype Design:

Ideal for aspiring engineers, from the conception of an idea to the development of a product.

Health Coach:

For those interested in the health field, combining psychology and nutrition to take a holistic approach to well-being. They will help people develop healthier lifestyles.

Entrepreneurship:

Designed for future business leaders. They use methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup to generate and bring business ideas to life.

Digital Marketing:

For those interested in creative processes and communication. Students will learn how to use social media professionally to position messages, persuade audiences and boost sales, becoming experts in comprehensive digital marketing strategies and social media management.

Cultural Management:

Designed for lovers of culture, the arts and the humanities. Participants will explore artistic expression as a means of social change and learn management techniques to develop sustainable cultural projects.

The CP is therefore a non-traditional educational option that meets the specific needs of our students and those of the labour market
