Where is the school located?

The school is located in Bogotá, at the following address: Calle 170, No. 15-68, La Uribe neighbourhood, Usaquén district.

The school has an average of 1,300 students.

The school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Students at The English Nursery may opt to finish their day at 12:30 p.m.
Extracurricular activities and sports take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Class sizes in Pre-Nursery and Nursery are limited to a maximum of 15 pupils.
From Pre-Primary through to Year 11, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 25 pupils, with a maximum of five (5) classes per grade level.

The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. It offers all four IB programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-related Programme (CP).

From The English Nursery to Grade 2, children have a tutor and an assistant teacher throughout the school day.
All students have specialist teachers (Art, Music, Drama, PE, Library, etc.)

Yes. We have a team of international teachers from Grade 1 onwards.

English language learning is a gradual process; students are immersed in the language from Pre-Nursery onwards, where they begin by spending 60% of their time in English, rising to 70% in Nursery, 80% in Transition and between 80% and 90% from Grades 1 to 11.
From Grade 4 onwards, French is introduced as a third language.

Yes. French is taught from Grade 4 to Grade 9. In Grades 10 and 11, it is optional.

The school offers more than 50 extracurricular activities. Similarly, the school offers students the option of taking part in sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, gymnastics and/or athletics. These activities take place on the school premises and are offered after the school day has finished, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The school is non-confessional; therefore, no specific religion is taught or practised, as the school community comprises people from a variety of cultures and nationalities.

The school offers transport and a canteen service; these are optional and are not included in the monthly fee.

It is recommended that you begin the process one year in advance of the planned start date; however, the school operates a rolling admissions process. Depending on the time of year, interested families can book admissions meetings or school visits.

Yes, the school welcomes families of different nationalities.

The documents required vary depending on the section the student is applying to. A list of the required documents is provided at the informative session.

 The school does not accept vouchers. It offers two payment options: the full fee or the Advance Payment of School Fees (PAP). With the second option, families can receive a discount on the full fee. Fees vary depending on the grade level the student is apllying to and are provided to parents during the admissions process.
