At The English School, we greatly value the talent and dedication of every member of our team. To ensure a transparent and efficient recruitment process, here are the steps you will follow when applying for one of our vacancies:
1. Application
The first step to joining our team is to complete your application for the role you’re interested in via our dedicated platform, “Genomawork”. Please ensure you fill in all the fields on the form carefully and attach your up-to-date CV, highlighting your experience and professional achievements.
2. Comprehensive psychometric assessment
Once you have completed the application form, you will take some psychometric tests on the same platform; these will form part of our assessment process. Once we have reviewed your results, we will let you know how you are progressing in the selection process.
3. Follow-up video interview
If we believe you fit the profile we are looking for, we will invite you to provide further details via a video interview, answering the questions we will set out on the platform.
4. Professional interview panel
At this stage, you will be invited to attend an online or face-to-face meeting, where you will have an interview with Human Resources, the line manager for the role and other relevant parties involved in the process.
5. Specialised technical test
If successful in the interviews, the next step is to invite you to sit a technical/practical test (depending on the vacancy you are applying for) to assess your knowledge.
6. Preview and verification process
At this stage, the shortlisted candidates begin the process of taking their entrance exams, undergoing security checks, providing references and submitting the required documents.
7. Letter of offer and contract
If you have successfully completed the selection process, you will receive a letter of offer by email. If you accept the offer, we will proceed with the signing of the contract and institutional documents, followed by the induction process.
Continuous Communication
We would like to assure you that, throughout each of these stages, we will maintain open and continuous communication with you, primarily via email and, on occasion, by telephone. We will keep you informed of your progress in the process and, should you be shortlisted for the next stages (psychometric tests, video interview, technical tests and interviews), we will provide you with all the necessary instructions on how to proceed.
