WITHDRAWAL POLICY

a) When a family decides to temporarily withdraw from the Fundación Educativa de Inglaterra and its educational establishments, a letter must be sent to the Academic Secretary requesting to reserve the place, if they want to hold it. In such a case, a refund is not possible and the place shall be reserved for a period of up to three years. The letter must specify the period of time the student will withdraw from the school. In the case of permanent withdrawal, the letter must also specify the reason for withdrawal.

b) Parents will receive a letter from the Academic Direction specifying the requirements to fulfil in case of student readmission.

c) If at the time of permanent withdrawal, and the family had chosen the advance payment option, the Fundación Educativa de Inglaterra will only refund the amount not deducted except for a sum equivalent to compensation for damages resulting from the availability of the place, as it affects the future income of the institution.

The sum equivalent to compensation for damages is as follows:

i) During the first year, the equivalent to a thirty percent (30%) of the amount not deducted shall be applied.

ii) During the second year, the equivalent to a forty percent (40%) of the amount deducted shall be applied.

iii) During the third year,  the equivalent to a fifty percent (50%) of the amount not deducted shall be applied.

iv) During the fourth year, the equivalent to a sixty percent (60%) of the amount not deducted shall be applied.

v) During the fifth year, the equivalent to a seventy percent (70%) of the amount not deducted shall be applied.

vi) As of the sixth year, there will be no refund, since the remaining percentage will be the sum equivalent to the compensation for damages resulting from the availability of the place.

d) When a student temporarily withdraws from school, the same payment option chosen before the withdrawal will stay in force after readmission, with no exceptions.

e) For families who chose the full fee option, there will be no refund and the place will not be guaranteed.
